Procedure:

Write a concise (one or two page) narrative piece about yourself which includes the following information:

1. Why you are in this photography class

2. Your goals and aspirations in photography

3. Your current areas of interest in photography

4. Your photo education and background

5. Your general education and background

6. A list of your photo equipment

7. Your other interests and /or hobbies

8. Your current email address

The assignment is to be typewritten or computer printed on standard size typing paper and shouldn't exceed two pages double-spaced. Put your name and class day & time in the upper-right on each sheet

Purpose:

To give me some information about you as an individual, and the class as a group. This information will be kept confidential.

To Turn-in:

This information sheet stapled on top (remember, put name & class info on each sheet). This assignment need not be in an envelope.

Grading:

This is not an English class. However, photographers are frequently writing documents including project proposals, grant requests, query letters, etc. and need to appear professional and competent. This assignment needs to be either typed or computer generated on white paper.
