Experience the simplicity, elegance, and serenity of a 3,000-year-old art form—brush painting in the Asian manner—and discover a talent you may never have realized you possess. This workshop includes hands-on brush painting and a lesson in the principles and practice of Tai Chi to prepare you to create your masterpiece. You will be painting with the Four Treasures of Sumi-e—ink stone, ink stick, rice paper, and bamboo brush. You will take home at least one finished painting at the end of the workshop.
