Welcome to Dancing Brush Studios of Cardiff by the Sea, California. We are comprised of Contemporary Zen Painter / Teacher,  Rosemary KimBal, and Painter / Printmaker / Photographer / Caricaturist,  Raymond Ellstad.   Located in northern coastal San Diego county, during the past 20 years we have offered workshops, demonstrations, seminars, consultations, retail art and supplies in the field of Oriental Brush Painting (Chinese brush painting and Japanese sumi-e), Ceramics, Watercolor, Photography, Illustration, Cartooning, Digital Art, Print Making, Journaling, Yoga, Feng Shui and Tai Chi.  We hope to continue this behavior. Here also you will find in addition to our artwork, supplies, and other services, the adventurous travelogue of two American artists as they travel in Europe and beyond. Oh - Ma - Gawd, we hope we've covered all the bases (if you happen by on any given evening you might even catch us doing the kitchen dance) and we hope we can entertain you and we hope that you enjoy your visit.
